Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved movement. I grew up on a farm in a town called Birregurra where the only entertainment was my imagination and the environment. Trees would turn into gymnasiums and each day was a new adventure. As I got older I fell in love with mountain biking and was lucky enough to live a few towns away from the best trails in Victoria: Forrest. It was the best opportunity for me to immerse myself in Australia’s beautiful nature. From there it grew into a passion that involved rock climbing, beach volleyball and body weight movements.
It was a lifestyle that I was very lucky to have as even now I realise that not many people can move the way they intend to. I’ve always wanted to change that. This is what pushed me in the direction of Myotherapy. Being able to help others move away from pain. It has given me the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the most elite athletes in a huge range of sports and disciplines including football, tennis, gymnastics, ballet and more.
I’m a huge believer of “knowledge is power”. I live by it and I preach it. I love to educate every single person who steps foot in the clinic and I always make sure they know exactly what’s going on with their body. Education has always been a huge part of my life as it reflects my second passion: books. It’s because of reading that I’ve always been fascinated with stories and the stories of my clients are the richest and most valuable.
